Data center infrastructure service provider, PT MettaDC Teknologi Indonesia successfully held a signing ceremony with the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), on Thursday (02/02/2023). The event also aimed to inaugurate MettaIX.
MettaIX is one of MettaDC's services which is an internet exchange. With regard to the statement of MettaDC President Director, Sukoco Hamil, that data centers in Indonesia are expanding and growing. Therefore, the collaboration between MettaDC and APJII is to realize the acceleration of the expansion of the provision of internet service access and increase the capacity of digital instructors.

Then, Muhammad Arif as Chairman of APJII also said, "APJII welcomes the collaboration with MettaDC as a collaboration to increase Indonesia's digital infrastructure capacity. As known, Indonesia has become the country with the largest data center revenue in Southeast Asia. According to the latest data, Indonesia is estimated to have a revenue of US$ 2. 84 billion in the data center market in 2022 and is projected to reach US$ 3. 01 billion in 2023".
Arif also said that connectivity and data centers are an inseparable part of digital transformation and are the main infrastructure that supports the expansion of digitalization.
