Data center infrastructure service provider, PT MettaDC Teknologi Indonesia successfully held a signing ceremony with the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), on Thursday (02/02/2023). The event also aimed to inaugurate MettaIX.  

MettaIX is one of MettaDC's services which is an internet exchange. With regard to the statement of MettaDC President Director, Sukoco Hamil, that data centers in Indonesia are expanding and growing. Therefore, the collaboration between MettaDC and APJII is to realize the acceleration of the expansion of the provision of internet service access and increase the capacity of digital instructors.  
"MettaDC promotes a reputation that focuses on quality so that APJII members can experience IIX services from MettaIX Nodes with stability. In 2022 internet users are increasingly widespread in Indonesia, based on this, 2023 is the right target to be able to collaborate with APJII in realizing adequate internet infrastructure facilities. Through data centers, many digital applications make Indonesia have the potential to become a new market for advanced technology, supported by adequate internet to support business progress in Indonesia. MettaDC is ready to provide a special package for APJII members 100Gbps unlimited connectivity from Cyber to MettaDC ID01.", added Sukoco Halim in the event.  

Then, Muhammad Arif as Chairman of APJII also said, "APJII welcomes the collaboration with MettaDC as a collaboration to increase Indonesia's digital infrastructure capacity. As known, Indonesia has become the country with the largest data center revenue in Southeast Asia. According to the latest data, Indonesia is estimated to have a revenue of US$ 2. 84 billion in the data center market in 2022 and is projected to reach US$ 3. 01 billion in 2023".

Arif also said that connectivity and data centers are an inseparable part of digital transformation and are the main infrastructure that supports the expansion of digitalization.  

APJII sincerely hopes that the collaboration with MettaDC can benefit people who need reliable connectivity and application services."For information, Indonesia's telecommunications sector is currently growing, and revenues in the Telecommunications Services market are projected to reach US$16. 72 billion in 2023 with the largest market segment being Mobile Data, which has a projected market volume of US$9. 08 billion in 2023."
